Collection: Silicon Bronze Bolts & Machine Screws
Solid Silicon Bronze Bolts from Fair Wind Fasteners are curated to be the finest quality available on the market today.
Whether you are building an entire boat, fine furniture, restoring a vintage home, or working for a water or electric utility, solid bronze bolts are often the fastener of choice. You can rest assured that your bronze bolts from Fair Wind Fasteners are of the highest quality and are made out of a tried and true corrosion resistant 651 Silicon Bronze alloy that will last for decades to come.
- Hex Cap Bolts - Our hex head bolts, often referred to as hex cap screws or tap bolts, like all of our bolts are solid C65100 Silicon Bronze. The anti-corrosive, non-ferrous, and highly conductive properties make them commonly used in water utilities, electrical installations, and of course on vessels where corrosion resistance and strength is paramount.
- Carriage Bolts - Often referred to as coach bolts, our round head, square neck carriage bolts are of course solid silicon bronze. Excellent for fastening a keel or large timbers in underwater or highly corrosive environments. Ours have cut threads and are partially threaded, making them stronger and more useful than their rolled thread counterparts.
- Fin Neck Bolts - Fin neck bolts in silicon bronze are very hard-to-find, but we have them! Introduced by Francis Herreshoff, the fins underneath the heads of these bolts will hold them steadily in wood, and the heads will sit beautifully flush in your application. We have the largest selection in the world.
- Machine Bolts - Often referred to as machine screws, they are in fact a bolt because they require a nut or other threaded fastener to be used in conjunction. Ours are of course solid silicon bronze, not "oil rubbed bronze" or bronze plated like some of the imposters out there.
- Lag Bolts - Techinically a lag screw, we've included them here because they are most often referred to as lag bolts. Solid bronze, highly corrosion resistant, and with sharp threads and solid shanks that are perfect for holding large timbers.
