These high quality, marine grade silicon bronze cotter pins (also known as split pins) come in handy for all kinds of uses on a boat. From securing classic sailing yacht rigging, to locking your prop's castle nut so it doesn't fall off, they are always good to have around.

This cotter pin assortment/kit comes with 110 solid silicon bronze cotter pins in a variety of useful sizes, packed in a quality box made by Flambeau that is perfect for keeping aboard your vessel for the inevitable moments when they're needed. They are 37% off of the price of ordering each of these pins individually!

If what you need is a specific size and not a whole kit, these silicon bronze cotter pins can be purchased individually here.

This assortment kit comes with 10 each of the following sizes:

Our cotter pins are made from SOLID alloy 873 silicon bronze, also known as Everdur. No plated rubbish here! They are incredibly resistant to saltwater and will hold your clevis pins, props, turnbuckles, and other various fittings securely for years to come.

Cotter pin thickness (diameter) is the thickness of the shank across both prongs, and the length is measured from the bottom of the head to the shortest prong. Please see t//he diagram in the photos for sizing help.

Rob was very responsive and helpful in getting Schooner Spirit ready for the 2023 Tiedemann Classic.

In addition to a comprehensive bronze cotter pin kit, Spirit was able to find the correct size bronze clevis pin to replace a temporary shroud pin. We look forward to placing future orders with Fair Wind Fasteners soon in preparation for our remaining regattas this summer.
