Possibly the most commonly used type of nut in the world, our Hex Finish Nuts do differ in the fact that they come in a relatively uncommon alloy, 316 (A4) Stainless Steel. While most big box, and even small hardware and fastener retailers will sell you a "Stainless" hex nut without specifying the grade, we make sure to only sell a high grade stainless steel that we would use in our own marine application. In corrosive environments, where 18-8, 304, or A2 stainless steel will still rust and corrode, our 316 Stainless Steel hex nuts will stay rust and corrosion free, as well as provide a secure fastening for much longer.
