Tally Ho! Is planked with silicon bronze from Fair Wind Fasteners

Having struck off on my own and ventured off in to the unknown on more than one occasion in my life, I know the both the initial apprehension and the follow-up satisfaction that comes with such a decision. That's why I can't help but respect and love what Leo Goolden and his team are doing to rebuild and preserve Tally Ho. I'm extremely proud to say that Fair Wind Fasteners has been able to play a small part in helping his momentous project along.
If you don't know about the Tally Ho project, you should really have a look. Leo Goolden took on the huge task of rebuilding this (BIG) old wooden boat and bringing her back to her former glory. I think we can all agree it's a worthwhile project, but anyone who knows wooden boats knows that asking how long it will take or what it will cost is like asking, "How long is a piece of string?" Leo is a pretty "switched on" kind of guy, so he knew that, but he took a leap and went for it anyway despite the massive task that lay ahead. He's making it all happen with YouTube videos and an awesome team of volunteers - What a bunch of legends!
If you're not already subscribed to his YouTube channel then I encourage you to do so. There is a lot to learn, and it's a beautiful thing to watch these craftsmen and women do things the right way in his calming and informative videos. I look forward to helping as much as I can, and also appreciate him letting the world know that Fair Wind Fasteners is supplying some of the best boatbuilders with some of the best silicon bronze wood screws on the market! Cheers to the Tally Ho team!
